This Cole Valley remodel brought together four fabrication approaches across the kitchen and primary bath: solid white oak, shop-sawn thick veneer, architectural veneer, and painted solid-wood cabinetry.

In the kitchen, Joinery Structures developed a curved bead that carries consistently across the Shaker-style cabinet fronts, first mocking up the detail with the architect before cutting the final profiles. The sculpted range hood was built up as a solid form and wrapped in white oak veneer, while solid corbels mount on concealed dovetails with no visible fasteners.

In the primary bath, wall panels, window jambs, casing, vanity components, and solid drawer fronts were produced from the same batches of white oak, allowing grain and tone to carry across different surfaces and fabrication methods. From shop drawings through fabrication and installation, Joinery Structures controlled the work in-house to maintain those relationships through the finished spaces.
